歐盟委員會表示，意大利倫巴第大區(qū)（Lombardia）和威尼托區(qū)（Veneto）爆發(fā)禽流感疫情，意大利稱已采取設(shè)立保護區(qū)和監(jiān)控區(qū)等必要措施來控制疫情。

 

    為防止不必要的貿(mào)易摩擦，避免不合理的貿(mào)易壁壘，歐盟委員會認為有必要及時通報意大利針對疫情所采取的措施。歐盟委員會對意大利所采取的措施進行了檢查，認可意方采取的相關(guān)措施。

    The overall disease situation in the unio has been steadily improving. However, since the date of the last amendment made to Implementing Decision （EU） 2017/247 by Implementing Decision （EU） 2017/1484, Italy has detected and notified to the Commission new outbreaks of highly pathogenic avian influenza of subtype H5N8 in poultry holdings, namely in the regions of Lombardia and Veneto of that Member State.Italy has also notified the Commission that it has taken the necessary measures required in accordance with Directive 2005/94/EC, including the establishment of protection and surveillance zones around the infected poultry holdings.

 

    The Commission has examined the measures taken by Italy in accordance with Directive 2005/94/EC, following the recent outbreaks of avian influenza of subtype H5N8 in that Member State, and it has satisfied itself that the boundaries of the protection and surveillance zones, established by the competent authority of Italy, are at a sufficient distance to any holding wher an outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza of subtype H5N8 has been //confirm/i/ied.

 

    In order to prevent any unnecessary disturbance to trade within the unio, and to avoid unjustified barriers to trade being imposed by third countries, it is necessary to rapidly describe at unio level, in collaboration with Italy, the protection and surveillance zones established in Italy, in accordance with Directive 2005/94/EC, following the recent outbreaks of highly pathogenic avian influenza of subtype H5N8 in that Member State. Therefore, the entries for Italy in the Annex to Implementing Decision （EU） 2017/247 should be updated to take account of the up-to-date epidemiological situation in that Member State as regards that disease. In particular, new entries for certain areas in the regions of Lombardia and Veneto need to be added in order to address this new situation.
