部分原文報(bào)道如下:
Heather Hancock, the Chair of the Food Standards Agency, today opened the meeting of the Codex Alimentarius working group on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) in London. Codex Alimentarius is the global food standards body and the meeting, chaired by the UK, USA and Australia, has been organised to progress international efforts to tackle AMR.
AMR is a significant increasing threat to public health across the world. As part of the FSA's commitment to protecting consumers, it is working with international partners, other Government departments, and food producers, to reduce the use of antimicrobials in food producing animals.
